Bouldering

River Bouldering with The Adventure Team

Bouldering is one of our most popular combined rock and water activities. If you are after a buzz with plenty of laughter, water and splashes then this is definitely for you. Participants can expect to have an exhilarating challenge pitched at their individual level which makes this activity suitable for those with no fear of heights or water as well as those who may not be quite so confident.

Wearing sturdy footwear, wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets, participants travel up and down a river (normally a steep mountain river) swimming through pools, sliding down waterfalls, scrambling over rocks and jumping into pools. During your Bouldering session you will learn rock climbing and scrambling techniques as well as how to jump from great heights safely.
